Based on 47 reviewsVery good Very well equipped rooms and Elna is a great hostess. The whole setup of the questlodge is very good as well and with a great vibe. Any extra wishes were no problem at all. We would love to come back next time we visit Bloem!Meindert S07/08/2022Great experience at Camelia guesthouse We immediately felt welcome after being received by our friendly host. Our stay was really a pleasant experience. We would definitely recommend it and certainly would stay there again.vlad46112/04/2021Nice stay. Friendly and helpful service. Very clean - specifically the communal area. Bedroom is beautiful, linen exceptional and the bathroom is spacious and well-done. We chose your place because it has a bath and shower - the double basins were a bonus! We enjoyed the peace and quiet after our hard day's work.magda93204/03/2020Wonderful 2 night stayover Located in a quiet and convenient area, we found Camelia Guest House to be the perfect place to stay. The comfortable beds with percale linen ensured we had very good nights sleep. The rooms were spotlessly clean and looked freshly painted! Lovely garden and to wake up to birdsong was special. Jan and Susara are helpful and hospitable and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Recommended0lanad28/10/2019Thank you for a brilliant sleep over! Very friendly reception, very private room with own patio, good bed and mattress, and nice and clean. Safe parking inside gates, and easy arrangements to go in and out. Area quiet, so can get a good bnight's sleep.marthiekotze14/10/2019Good stay at Camelia Slept over at Camelia on way to Johannesburg. Staff was most helpful upon our arrival which was great after a tiring day of driving. Overall good service, comfortable beds. Most importantly for me, the room and bathroom was spotless. Also very tastefully furnished and decorated.mdamon59787003/09/2019Very comfortable but.... Having stayed at Camelia once before and thoroughly enjoying it we at last were able to stay over again. As last time, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and shown to our very comfortable and cozy room at the end of the house. Lovely to have our own entrance to the room.Camelia has a wonderful communal dining area and self service kitchen where one can prepare meals etc. This is well stocked with cutlery, crockery, a toaster, kettle and microwave as well as 3 or 4 small dining room tables. The only problem we found when trying to heat up a meal that night was that there are no dishes to cook anything in the microwave except for the plates. It would be so useful to have a few microwave dishes so we could heat up some soup or meals. The beds are very comfortable, rooms neat, tidy and warm. Shower is very good and water very hot indeed. Apart from the microwave dishes issue we had another good experience here and thanks to the hosts.BWM5505/08/2019One of the nicest places to stay! Jan and Susara from Camelia Guest House always make us feel welcome. Their establishment feels like a home a way from home. The facilities are all very well kept and breakfast is excellent. The location is very convenient being close to both the University as well as the highway.I would stay there every time that I am in Bloemfontien.declanbenadie02/08/2019Great hospitality I had a wonderful stay at Camelia - well looked after by Susara and team. The room was very comfortable with all the necessities. It was very cold while I was there, so in addition to the effective room heating, I was thrilled to find a hot water bottle to warm my bed. Susara provided great breakfasts as well. This is very convenient for anyone visiting the University of the Free State.Julia B10/07/2019
